This is a blog comparing two movies using the Hero's journey.
Now as i think back on the flics mentioned, I can see the myths wheel
coming to light. There's Captain Jack Sparrow along with Mr. Will
Turner and Miss Elizabeth Swann.(P.o.t.C) Then in ( E.S.B) we have
Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chuie, and last but not least Princess
Lea.
These films stet a similar tale thru events and circumstances.
from the call to adventure is where it starts with both parties.
Although Luke Skywalker is in the process of becoming a jedi knight.
Mr. Will Turner is just trying to get married to the woman he loves
so dearly. Then starts the cycle of heroism. Just as Luke and Will
are set to do battle within the belly of the beast. so is Vader and
Davey Jones on a quest for total domination.
So with the paths colliding, theres only but one thing left
to do.So hold on to your seats as good triumphs over evil.taking
you on a ride thru the galaxy, and over the seven seas and beyond.
keeping you intensely glued to that screen. So hold blast off.

The Root To All Evil ! (Fargo & The Big Lebowski)
This blog is about two movies with the same plot somewhat in
comparison. They are simple because of its deceptions. Things are
not what they really seem when it comes to money. The main comparison
is that of the characters " The Dude"and the "Sherriff". They seem to
have that uncanny intellect to solve the crime. The caser is solved
Columbo style.
As for the ransom, its all up for grabs when the people who
are supposed to get it does'nt. The kidnappers in both films are
misfits because of the way they bungle the kidnapping. there is no
smoothness to anything they do.So in the end they everyone gets
what they never really asked for. the innocent becomes the guilty.

Hudsucker Proxy (verses) Head of State
Lets start with "Hudsucker Proxy". Thers a small town boy
who goes to the big city. He's looking for employment, but finds
much more than one could bargain for. He starts a job in the
mailroom of the Hudsucker building, where he accidently gets a
promotion to C.E.O, in this new position he gets taken advantage
of. Now heres "Head of State". A naive young man who's an
Alderman of his community. He gets the shock of his life, when his
girlfriend leaves him. She never pays his car note, so he loses
his car in an repossesion. The very next day he finds that his
office has been padlocked due to an eviction. Then he's taken
advantage of by certain members of the federal government.
they ask him to run for the office of the "President of the
United States". But they are plotting his failure.
These are in some ways two in the same. Where a man gets
lost within himself emotionally. He finds a way out thru himself,
in the pursuit of whats right inside the realm of a "Romantic
Comedy". Where true love is evident.Though they are worlds apart,
they both share the same naivety. Theres also the twisted interludes
where man & woman are locked in a verbal tug of war if you will.
Two people searching for something so close, but not knowing where
to look. When it surfaces, slapping them in the face. There is much
to be seen with ite dark under-tones through out the two movies.
As they come to the end of their journey, they find its yet so far!

The Break- up
I'd like to first state for the record. This movie
is less like the traditional(Romantic Comedy). There were
no similarities within the "MEET".Vince Vaughn's character
was definitely an ASSHOLE in every sense of the word. He's
pushy, persistent, inconsiderate, and most of all selfish.
This movis is like the traditional because oppisited do
ttract, and there is a nasty split. but here is no room for
reconciliation I think this is a great movie and i do
recommend this for viewing!!!

THE SAME OR NOT ! (VINCE RHAMES)
I'M BLOGGING FOR THE FIRST TIME ABOUT VING RHAMES. HE HAS GIVEN US
CHARACTERS ON SCREEN AND IN TELEVISION SHOWS ON MANY DIFFERENT LEVELS.
THE FIRST MOVIE TO BLOG IS "STRIP TEASE' WHERE HE PLAYED A BOUNCER.
SOMEONE WHO HAD SOMEWHAT OF A SENSUAL SIDE. HE BECAME THIS CHARACTER.HE
LETS YOU FEEL SOME OF THE EMOTIONS AS YOU'RE DRAWN INSIDE THIS STORY LINE.
WITH HIS WAY OF PROTECTING AND BEING RESPONSIBLE FOR ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL.
HE MAKES IT LOOK EASY WITH THAT ROUGH MAN'S MAN ATTITUDE. HE IS ALSO
HELPFUL IN GETTING THE LADYS READY TO SHOWCASE.
IN MISSION IMPOSSIBLE HE PORTRAYS THE CHARACTER AS A TECHNO SPY
COMING AWAY FROM HIS ROUGH NECK STYLE. IN THIS FILM HE HAS SOMETHING OF
A MORAL COMPONENT WITHIN THIS CHARACTER. HE'S DRIVEN TO BE A TEAM PLAYER
FOR THE GREATER GOOD OF HUMANITY. HE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR KEEPING EVERYTHING
SMOOTH WHICH IS VERY DIFFERENT FROM WHAT HE NORMALLY DOES.
THEN THERE THESE MOVIES IN WHICH HE SHOWS CERTAIN SIMILARITIES
WHERE HE RELATES TO MORE OR LESS THAT DARKSIDE OR GOING TO THE EDGE.
HE'S VERY VIOLENT WITHOUT ANY REMORSE IN (PULP FICTION) BECAUSE THERSE
THE MAFIA PERSONA. IN THE MOVIE(ANIMAL) ITS SOME OF THE SAME TRAITS
BEING DISPLAYED WITH SOME INTENSE FIGHT SCENES WHICH SHOW EXTREME
VIOLENCE. HE SHOWS A THRILL FOR THE STREET TYPE OF RAW VIOLENCE.
I HAVE TO ADD (UNDISPUTED) WHERE HE GIVE A PORTION OF THE SAME BUT WITH A
SIDE OF BEING BOISTEROUS. HE EVEN SHOWS HIS CHARACTERS NONCHALANTNESS.
HE DRAWS YOU INTO EACH PART HE PLAYS.YOU'RE ON THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT
WITH EVERY SCENE.
NOW LAST BUT NOT LEAST,HE GIVES YOU "HOLIDAY HEART" WHERE HE
PORTRAYS A DRAG QUEEN. NOWS THAT WAS STRETCHING HIS TALENTS BEYOND
HIS KILLER, THUGGISH PARTS. HE PULLED OFF AN AMAZING PERFORMANCE
GIVING YOU LAUGHTER,HAPPINESS,MORNING, AND PAIN. HE TOOK ON THE ROLE
OF FATHERHOOD AND CARING FOR SOMEONE OTHER THAN HIMSELF. THIS WAS
GIVEN ON A LEVEL THAT WAS UNCANNY. HE DOVE DEEP INTO HIMSELF TO
GIVE THE PERFORMANCE OF A LIFETIME, A MASTREPIECE.YOU'RE MESMORIZED
BY THE LEVEL OF INTENSITY THATS DISPLAYED THROUGH HIS DRIVE AND
COMPASSION. THERE IS SUCH A LEVEL OF CONSCIUOSNESS FROM A
RESPONSIBLE ASPECT OF HIS FILMS. HE TAKES YOU INSIDE THE MINDS
OF EACH CHARACTER GIVEN WITHIN HIS TALENTS.
